An Event Not to Be Missed

From September 20 to 22, the very first edition of the event Danser le Petit Champlain will take place.

The Quartier Petit Champlain is the perfect setting for this site-specific creation that will allow the audience to admire the beauty of its architecture and impressive topography through the language of dance.

Through dance and music, participants will gain a fresh perspective on the human and built heritage of this important part of Quebec City.

On Friday evening, the public is invited to the festive and unifying show "Ferrari en feu," presented by the contemporary dance collective Le CRue Danse, featuring Julia-Maude Cloutier and Amélie Gagnon. The performance will be followed by a show by Narcisse, who brings sensuality and theatricality to the stage for an explosion of frenetic and colorful rhythms. To conclude the evening, a DJ and dancers hidden in the crowd will energize the audience.

On Saturday and Sunday, the show "Caravane," specially created for the event, will be presented four times. The Franco-Quebecois choreographer duo Florence Loison and Harold Rhéaum will be at the helm of this unique creation. They will be joined by an artist from each of their respective companies to offer a four-voiced danced dialogue.
